The project adopts an interdisciplinary approach joining different competences in social sciences (sociology, economics and organizational studies), as well as competences in metrology and managerial engineering.
Furthermore, it integrates different qualitative and quantitative methodological tools:
1) interviews and daily life stories to a sample of scholars belonging to different universities, fields of study, gender, age and geographical regions
2) a survey at national level to collect data on effects of research evaluation, characteristics of the respondents, geographical and institutional contexts (download survey privacy policy)
3) bibliometric analysis on scientific production of Italian researchers and professors using data from the Web of Science - Core Collection of Clarivate Analytics
4) development of a new methodological framework for assessing the effects produced by measurements and related concepts to academic research
